Micah Can Fly!

 Micah and I enjoyed a school field trip to iFly this month.  They have wind tunnels and experienced instructors that take people in the tunnel to simulate the experience of sky diving. (After the obligatory educational physics demonstration of course.)

The flight instructors are absolutely amazing.  They can ski around the walls, do flips and tricks like superman, and zip around like birds.

The kids got to do two flights each.  The first was a low speed flight to acclimate them to the forces of the wind and help them figure out the correct form.

The second flight was a high flight to the top of the tunnel.  The instructor grabs the handles of the flight suit and controls the spiral up and down in the tube.

It was fun to watch and I think it would be fun to go back with the whole family someday.
