Stop Motion Videos

I recently spent some time experimenting with making stop motion videos. I used a free app called IMotion(v5.0.7) to make them and export to my google photos, email, or whatever later.

What is stop motion? Stop motion is taking tons of pictures in order to make inanimate objects move. The app I use has two features to help with this. I can manually take the pictures or put it on a timer to take pictures every couple of seconds.

     Stop motion basics:
-Most apps have an onion skin filter or a grid to help you find the same position as your last shot. I suggest just propping up the phone. It will help the objects seem like they are moving and not the setting.
-Move the objects slower for something that will look more fluid, the more distance you move an object the more it will look like it's jumping. (Which might not be a problem.)
- If you (like me) thought you could just do it with your regular camera you're probably wrong.😢 Your phone doesn't usually have a function that can turn tons of pictures into a video. If you want to try it also, get an app that can make them for you.

I had a lot of fun experimenting with stop motion and objects around the house. Here are three I made:
