VBS 2017

I'm a little behind on blogging but we can't let VBS go by without telling you how much fun we had.  Our theme was Operation Arctic with an emphasis on exploring the bible.

I had one of the second grade classes.  This was our ice cave:

 Anna and Micah spent almost two full days at church helping to prepare for VBS.  They even passed up an opportunity to go see a movie at the theater because they would miss out on the fun of our church family working together to get the campus ready.

Our program usually includes a Wednesday water day but with an arctic theme our director opted to have 10 tons of snow dumped on the lawn.  After the 135 kids attending VBS kids left for the day, staff and volunteer families hung around to play. Where else can you have this kind of fun in 80 degree weather?
