Birthday Boy!

The birthday boy requested a pink cake, can you fault him for wanting to be like his older sister?  We had already decided on a dump truck design we found online and I tried to make it red.  I knew that mixing red frosting requires a lot of coloring but after using almost a full bottle I decided we were as red as we were going to get.  So Micah got his pink cake in the end.

 

This transporter airplane gift was a hit.  We'll open most family gifts tomorrow.

But we couldn't wait any longer for this one...  Where else do you hide a small red bike?  In the attic of course.  So we told him there was a present in the attic for him and let him climb up the stairs to look. 

Here's the moment he spied his prize. "Dere's a bike up dere!  It's a Alabama bike."





Well actually it's just a red Huffy bike but that's what it looks like to a soon-to-be three year old who lives in this state!
