What a Coincidence

I purchased our bedspread a long time ago when we first moved to Sacramento.  It was part of a bedroom makeover that never happened.  And then so much time passed and we moved to Alabama that I have just decided to wait until a future date, maybe when we get around to saving for some matching bedroom furniture.

But the other day, I noticed something interesting.  This bedspread is the perfect colors for anyone moving to Alabama from out of state.  Notice the precise selection and placement of colors.  Blue and orange.  Green with yellow.  Red, grey and white.  Those colors might have no significance to the rest of the country but in Alabama they could only mean one thing:  college football.

And it starts in just 12 days.  Fortunately I'll have my trusty blankie to help me keep it all straight.
