Home Depot Run

Made a quick stop at Home Depot this morning for some bug spray.  We have carpenter bees in our arbor and need to be ready should they head for the play set.  Of course while we were there we had to look at the BBQs (ours died this week) the frigs (I keep thinking it can't be long) and ovens (I want it to die - the self-clean feature is out.)  Then, swinging through the kids craft area, Anna finally worked up the courage to participate. 

So we assembled, painted, and stickered some planters.  The kids also got aprons, project pins to display on the apron, and a good size plant for their efforts.  Micah has an eggplant and Anna has an heirloom tomato. 

Only while sitting here did I realize why they gave us $7 dollars in plants!  I now have to go back and buy $20 worth of dirt and pots to grow them in.  Anna likes Home Depot commercials on the radio.  She always mimics the deep voice of the announcer with "That's the power of the Home Depot!"
