Gum

Daddy gave Anna a piece of gum to chew yesterday.  She started chewing at 9:00.  She was still chewing at 5.  She did set it on the side of her plate for snack and lunch.  And there was that time it blew out of her mouth when she sneezed.  At one point I saw her picking something off the ground.  She was riding her bike and when she got back to me I asked what she found.  She said, "my gum fell out."  I said, "Anna! If it falls out, we throw it away!"  She said, "It was only there a minute!"  I really did mean to make her throw it away several times but after being distracted by Micah for a few moments I kept forgetting.  I know, gross.

On the other hand, she didn't suck her thumb once today.  And that is a major accomplishment.
