The 10 Lists

I heard about a new bible reading plan several months back and thought I would share it with you.  It was organized by Dr. Grant Horner of the Master's College.  The idea is to 1) read scripture (lots) and 2) let the word of God comment on the word of God.  I have enjoyed it immensley.  I find each day that I remember more of my past reading because the text style is changing every few minutes and keeping my interest up.  I consolidated to six lists due to time constraints but if you have time, give the original a try.  A friend of mine reads a chapter from the 1st five one day and the remaining five the next.

To do it, place a book mark at the beginning of each of the sections below and read one chapter from each section per day.  When you finish a section, start it again.  In time, you will read portions of scripture more often than others but never with the same chapters you read before - thus the variety and interest you have been missing.  Dr Horner has a Facebook page with more info and his reasoning for each list if you are interested.
