What She's Really Thinking...
"Hey look, there's another little girlie confined to her room with all her favorite toys." (Anna actually played with her shadow for quite a while that day.) 
"Maybe if we all pretend to sleep, mommy will put us down for a nap." (Anna did all the gathering and arranging.)
"Don't look at the camera. Don't look at the camera. Mommy's trying to conduct a fall photo shoot and I must not cooperate." (She won 13-0)
"Whoa! You mean those animals in the picture books are real? What if they lick me or I step in droppings? I might get cooties!" (Anna at the petting zoo, before repeatedly bursting out in tears.)

(Anna at the petting zoo, before repeatedly bursting out in tears.)"There ain't now way my husband can fix this." However, he did! My washer quit washing and Peter diagnosed the problem (a broken lid sensor) dismantled the washer (without making a mess) fixed the broken part (with duct tape) and reassembled it (with no extra parts.) It's amazing what he can do with the internet and a little perseverance!
