Washington Trip

We took a short notice trip to Washington last week to attend my Grandma's funeral and spend time with my family.

We have wanted to visit the new, 185,000 sq ft Cabela's near my parents' house so we stopped by on the way home from the airport. You can browse yuppy outdoor gear, see beautiful trophy animals from all over the world, view and feed the trout and salmon, or take a break for lunch at the grill. (Most of the animals were real, the elephant was not.)

How many grandparents does it take to make sure a grandchild doesn't slip on the stairs?

Anna tried to slip through the bars and she almost made it. I am not sure if she was headed to the fish pond with the 18" trout or the cute stuffed skunk.
