Bloggish

I feel bloggish today but I don't know what to write about so I will wander aimlessly through my mind and see if anything strikes my fancy (can you imagine Peter ever saying anything remotely similar to that?)

Yesterday evening we had another Ladies Forum at church. This time the topic was Contentment and Torrey Hardy did an excellent job of encouraging us from God's Word.

This morning I woke Anna up early from her nap to take her to the toddler time at the library. I was tempted to be rather ticked to find it cancelled but fortunately yesterday's talk was fresh in my mind. So we took the opportunity to explore a new trail that runs behind our Costco. We met three nice doggies and discovered a new park with toddler friendly equipment (i.e. -not so high off the ground.) The doggies were great but yesterday brought us 7 neighborhood kitties! Exciting times if you are a 10 month old.

I recently finished two good books on parenting. H.C. Trumbull's Hint's on Child Training and Ginger Plowman's "Don't Make Me Count to Three." Both were excellent for biblical content and practical help. I have added them to my Amazon wish list so that I can remember to get them for myself and read them again.

Anna is getting better with her walking. She can do as many as 10-12 steps before falling with a cute little "oph" on her bum. She seems to think that since she can walk on two legs she should be allowed to come into the bathrooms and kitchen (no-pass zones) like the rest of us. (No such luck kiddo.)

That's all folks. Even I'm getting bored sitting here trying to come up with something interesting to say.

  1. Anything and everything you say is interesting, Sarah, so don't fret. You have quite the wit and writing ability. :)
