Ode to a Cookie Press!
Oh how I love thee my dearest cookie press, let me count the ways...
1) Easy to use
2) Makes yummy cookies
3) Easy to clean up
4) Makes cool shapes without rolling, patching, or even touching dough.
5) Did I mention how easy it is to produce mass quantities of tasty little sugar cookies without any effort?
Those who know me well, know that I despise cluttering up the kitchen with gadgets that serve only one purpose and are a pain to clean. I have always longed to make perfect little sugar cookies each Christmas but hated the thought of all the time and effort they require compared to other things I could make. (Coconut Macaroons, Ghiradelli Brownies, etc. ) However, Erin introduced me to the cookie press and then gave me one for Christmas and I love it!
It can also do frosting and is easy to clean up so I will forgive it being one more piece of kitchen stuff.

I love cookie presses! My roommate got one for me for Christmas last year and I used it for the first time this year. I don't think any of the cookies ever left the house, but I enjoyed decorating them and eating them...just for fun. :)
