More About ...Anna!
I do realize that all I ever seem to blog about is Anna. But you have to understand that through telling you about her, you learn everything there is of interest that is going on with us. So here's some more stuff about Anna.
Firsts today:
1) Anna FINALLY signed "more" when prompted verbally. She signed for more cheese and when daddy asked her to sign it for him later in the eveing. This is a major milestone for us as we have been trying to get signing started with her. We are also working on "all done" and "please" in addition to getting Anna to initiate the signs on her own.
2) Anna found out that she can make a clicking sound by sucking her tongue off the roof of her mouth. She was very impressed to find that mommy and daddy could make a similar sound and we were very impressed that she would do it in response to our clicks.
3) There is a friendly grey tabby cat that lives down the street and around the corner from us. We have visited him on many walks with Anna in the stroller and she has started to look for him as we pass by. Today, I carried Anna for a walk rather than taking the stroller so that we could pet the kitty if he was home. Sure enough he was. Anna reached out her hand and the cat pushed up against it several times. She was very excited and wanted to pet it again and again. When we finally left, she kept making little "ah" sounds as she watched it follow us home.
