Baby Dedication
Last Sunday, we had the opportunity to make a formal dedication of Anna to the Lord. Pastor Rick reminded us that our most important relationship is with God and second is the relationship between Peter and I. When those are right, we are able to love and take care of Anna in the way that we should. Grandpa Dave was invited to participate and he read from Proverbs and 3 John.
3 John 4 reads "I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth." May that be true for Peter and I.
After church we (both sets of Grandparents, Great-Grandparents Sauder, Aunt Connie, and Mark, and Amy) went back to our house for some good food. For those of you who missed it we had (with a little help from Costco): artichoke tapenade and bruschetta hors'doeurve, seasoned salmon with organic rice and green beans, and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert.

Congratulations. It sounds like a very God honoring dedication and what a blessing that so many members of your families could be there. What a special event. By the way, Anna looks adorable :).
