Ha ha ha mom. Joke's on me, now let me have my hand back:

Anna has started making a "mm mm mm mm..." sound when she feels she is being mistreated (getting ready for naps, when left alone too long on the floor, etc). It sounds a little like it could be the beginning of mama but we can't tell yet. We do think that she has figured out her name and possibly what mama and daddy mean. She will turn to face you when you call "Anna" although we admit she will sometimes respond to "pumpkin" and "hot chocolate" if you say it like you're calling her:) We think she also might be starting to look to the correct person when we say mama or daddy. Apparently, these things are developmentally appropriate for her age.
