Corning Trip

Hi All,

Anna and I had a short, but enjoyable trip to Corning and Chico last weekend. Sorry it took so long to blog but Anna was not napping quite so well this past week and uninterrupted moments were at a premium.

Thursday night we picked Auntie Amy (Peter's sister) up at the airport and drove up to Corning for Friday and Saturday. Anna was a delight to all! We ate lots of fresh produce from the Woodson garden and had time to relax. Anna met Rosie, her first encounter with a dog, but wasn't sure what to think.
Saturday night we went to Mark and Amy's for dinner and a movie. Anna is always fascinated by her Uncle Mark:

We stayed the night with them and enjoyed the opportunity to attend their church on Sunday. Anna, as usual, woke-up earlier than everyone else and quietly amused herself with Aunt Amy's spoon.

When we got home, Anna was very excited to see Peter again and couldn't stop smiling and talking. Since Sunday she has taken to rolling over, grabbing things you are carrying, and reaching out to be picked up.

Only a few more days to learn some new tricks and then we are off to LA to visit Papa, Nana, and Great Aunts Connie and Carolyn!
